Will South Africa be back on its feet in a match against Bangladesh?
The 5th match of World Cup 2019 is between Bangladesh and South Africa scheduled to take place in Kennington Oval, London. The match will begin at 09:30 AM GMT.
This is the first match for Bangladesh team while South Africa had already played its first match against England in the debut match of World Cup 2019. South African team wasn’t at its best in this match and faced a devastating defeat at the hands of England. England batted first and scored a massive total of 311 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the given 50 overs. South Africa set out chase this target but lost its wickets way too fast and was all out at just 2017 runs in 39.5 overs.
Though the loss was massive and could be disheartening, South Africa could be back on its feet in its second match against Bangladesh. Since Bangladesh is relatively not-so-threatening to the South African team and with the additional motivation that SA received from the previous defeat it can be predicted that the South African team will play with all its might to win.
Given Bangladesh team’s performance in the practice match against India, one can say that the team is all but ready to take on the South African team but judging by just one performance in the warmup matches will be lewd. Bangladeshi team has world-class players like Mashrafe Mortaza, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Mahmudullah, Rubel Hossain, Soumya Sarkar, Liton Das, Mustafizur Rahman, etc. The team is fully capable of taking on the best teams in the tournament and It is also fully motivated to begin the tournament with a success.
The match will be worth watching since both the teams are extraordinarily motivated to win the match which would mean a cutthroat battle that would entertain the audience for sure.
