Will Pakistan Register its first victory in the world cup against England Today?

The 6th ODI of ICC World Cup 2019 is taking place between England and Pakistan in Trent Bridge Nottingham. The match is going to start @ 09:30 PM GMT.

Both England and Pakistan had their debut matches in the World Cup. England played the first match of World Cup 2019 on May 30th against South Africa and stood victorious. England team was at its best and scored a good total of 311 runs against South Africa. Four of English players namely Jason Roy, Joe Root, Eoin Morgan, and Ben Stokes have scored more than half-century runs. Their Bowlers have bowled wonderfully too and succeeded in restricting South African score to 207 runs, gaining a roaring victory in the first match of WC 2019.

Pakistan on the other hand, played its first match in World Cup 2019 against West Indies on the very next day. West Indies won the toss and elected to field. Pakistan which came to bat first lost its wickets quickly. With no single player scoring more than 30 runs, Pakistan was all out for 105 runs. West Indies chased the total in just 13.4 overs at the loss of 3 wickets. Chris Gayle who scored half a century in 34 balls remained the highest scorer in the match. Pakistan’s Mohammad Amir was able to take 3 wickets in the 6 overs he bowled.

Pakistan was definitely not at its best in this match and would be looking to make a comeback in today’s match against England. England while riding high on Victory against South Africa might face Pakistan with an increased level of confidence. It is clear that both the teams will fight hard for victory which could mean one thing- A Great Match.
