Super Sunday sees two clashes: RR vs SRH and PBKS vs DC

Yesterday’s blockbuster match between CSK and MI is what we call a Run-fest. There’s no time for a breather as the excitement continues in the super Sunday as well. The first match sees the Rajasthan Royals squaring off against the Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Arun Jaitley stadium at 3:30 PM IST while the second clash will be played between the Punjab Kings and the Delhi Capitals at 7:30 PM IST in the Narendra Modi Stadium.

First Clash:

RR vs SRH

Both the teams have been languishing at the bottom of the points table and desperately need a victory to revive their chances in the playoffs.

Rajasthan Royals- The skipper Sanju Samson’s return to the form (42 n.o. vs KKR, 42 vs MI) promises a good outing for RR. Chris Morris, who has scalped 11 wickets so far is the best bowling option for the team. The trio of Chetan Sakariya, Jaydev Unadkat, and Mustafizur Rehman has come in handy and picked up wickets.

Sunrisers Hyderabad- The bottom-placed SRH look to have a turnaround on the back of their new captain, Kane Williamson. The franchise had also announced that there will be a change in its overseas combination. Looks like a change in the combination might give them an elusive victory. Will they turn tables?

Second Clash:

PBKS vs DC

The teams will confidently walk into their second head-to-head game on the back of massive victories. Capitals had steamrolled through the kings in a high-scoring thriller and might look to do that again.

Punjab Kings- In their first match this season, KL Rahul had powered through the DC bowlers and scored 61 runs. Chris Gayle, who is the second leading run-getter for the team (165 runs from 7 innings) will look to display his destructive skills. Their bowling unit saw a welcome addition in the previous match against RCB in the form of Harpreet Brar, who scalped 3 wickets.

Delhi Capitals- In their previous game, both Shikhar Dhawan and Prithvi Shaw had gone all guns blazing against PBKS and might repeat the same tonight. While Shikhar Dhawan’s classy 92 off 49 balls had impressed, Prithvi Shaw’s strike rate of 165.03 seems to be the highest in the team. Alongside their bowling unit, which has the likes of Amit Mishra and Avesh Khan they will look to defeat the kings again.
