Royal Challengers Bangalore RCB Squad IPL 2020
The wait is over, for cricket season is upon us and we are all excited to see who the players of the RCB squad IPL 2020 will be.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore have ranked in the bottom 3 for the last 3 years, also going from 6th place in 2018 to 8th place in the last season. However, the team’s new Head Coach, Mike Hesson, made some really good and tough decisions during the IPL Auction 2020, releasing a few well-known names and stacking the squad with some talented and skilled players. RCB bought Australia’s limited-overs captain Aaron Finch for 4.40 cr and South African Chris Morris, who was sold for Rs 10 crore in Indian Premier League 2020 auction. This makes the RCB a strong squad to beat this 2020.
Here are the following players of the Royal Challengers Bangalore Squad IPL 2020:
Retained: Virat Kohli, Moeen Ali, Yuzvendra Chahal, AB de Villiers, Parthiv Patel, Mohammed Siraj, Pawan Negi, Umesh Yadav, Gurkeerat Mann, Devdutt Padikkal, Shivam Dube, Washington Sundar, Navdeep Saini.
Bought: Aaron Finch (4.4 crores), Chris Morris (10 crores), Joshua Philippe (20 lakh), Kane Richardson(4 crores), Pavan Deshpande (20 lakh), Dale Steyn (2 crores), Shahbaz Ahamad (20 lakh), Isuru Udana (50 lakh).
If the need for their skills arises, RCB also has Pavan Deshpande (Batsman) and Kane Richardson (Bowler) in their pockets, but the two players did not receive their caps for the IPL 2020, therefore, remaining a surplus for the team.
No schedule for the 13th season of the Indian Premier League has been made available yet, though it has been announced that it is expected to start on March 29, 2020. The event will begin at the home grounds of the defending champions, Mumbai Indians, at Wankhede Stadium. The IPL Governing Council is said to meet soon in order to finalize the match dates.
Many fans hope for an overall victory from the RCB squad, but with the players they have lined-up, victory could be almost certain.
