On the day of Ramadan- Enjoy India vs South Africa and Bangladesh vs New Zealand Matches

 6 matches of the ICC World Cup have completed till date and India hasn’t played a single match. Other teams like England, South Africa, and Pakistan have played two matches which resulted in surprising defeats and victories.

South Africa has played its first match against the host nation England and lost at its hands. South Africa’s lost its second match against Bangladesh surprisingly claiming two consecutive losses in the tournament. England while played a fantastic innings against South Africa in the first match lost a match against Pakistan in its second. The defeat of England at the hands of Pakistan was a surprising one as Pakistan faced a devastating defeat at the hands of West Indies in its first match of WC.

Afghanistan first match was against Australia in which it faced a decent defeat. Sri Lanka’s first match was against New Zealand in which New Zealand played fantastically and won over Sri Lanka. While the 9 teams have played at least one match against some other, India was the only team who hadn’t debuted in the World Cup.

India’s debut match is against South Africa on 5th of June in The Rose Bowl, Southampton. South Africa will be playing its third match this day and will put on a fight owing to the defeats in the first two matches. While India is debuting in the WC with this match, the results are quite unpredictable.

The second match that is scheduled on the day of Ramadan is between Bangladesh and New Zealand. Bangladesh stood victorious against South Africa in its first match and has displayed quite an amount of skill. The team is most likely to put on a fight since it will be full of confidence with its previous victory. New Zealand too was fantastic in its first match against Sri Lanka. As mentioned, the team restricted Sri Lanka to a meager score of 136 and chased it without losing even one wicket. It was one of the biggest wins in World Cup 2019 that stays on par with West Indies’ victory over Pakistan which the team had managed to chase in just 13.4 overs.
