IPL 2021: Here’s the list of players KXIP has retained

The schedule for the 14th edition of the most loved tournament, IPL has not been released yet but the release of retention lists by the teams has started the IPL 2021 buzz already. There have been instances where the changes in the list have impacted the fortunes of the teams, hence it is important to make the right decisions.

The teams have set their eyes on the Mini-auction which is going to be held on the 18th of February. Franchises will look to bring in more of the talented players and amp up the squad’s performance.

The Dream 11 IPL 2020, a season full of surprises, witnessed the biggest surprise in the form of KXIP. Kings XI Punjab’s game in the previous season was thrilling, to say the least. What looked like a team on the way down, soon picked up momentum and came out stronger.

The team had an excellent mix of youth and experience, the fine captaincy of KL Rahul and Chris Gayle’s power which will be seen in this season as well. KL Rahul stood out not just as a fine captain but as the highest run scorer of IPL 2020. His centuries along with the support of Mayank Agarwal in the leagues threatened the other teams at the beginning of the season.

But KXIP ended up on the 6th spot of points table by the end of the tournament which was a disappointing end. Despite this, the team’s morale is boosted and in this year’s championship the team sure aims to be at the top. Check out the list of released and retained players of KXIP for IPL 2021.
