IPL 2020: Bhuvneshwar Kumar And Amit Mishra Ruled Out of Season Due to Injuries

IPL 2020 is going on at full speed with the matches almost stopping the hearts of cricket fans. The spectacular sixer raining final overs, the thrilling super overs, the unexpected losses of the strongest teams, and the incredible comebacks have been just some of the elements of the current IPL tournament. While there are so many good things that make us look forward to the rest of the tournament there has been some bad news that can throw the teams off balance.

The recent news is that Delhi’s top Bowler Amit Mishra has fractured a finger while bowling against Kolkata Knight Riders. The 37-year-old Bowler who was the senior leg spinner of the team and one of the greatest assets of the Delhi Capitals team has picked up 3 wickets from the three games that he has played.

Amit Mishra gathered spectacular Bowling Figures in the past matches and is a strategical strong point when it comes to economical Bowling. The man had taken out Shubman Gill in the match against KKR, and his absence in the team might affect the team’s morale. The current alternative that the team possesses is Sandeep Lamichhane who might be roped in to support Axar Patel and Ravichandran Ashwin.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, another great Bowler who is playing for the Sunrisers Hyderabad team, has recently experienced immense pain due to a hip injury in his last match against Chennai Super Kings. SRH team might be losing one of their great players as the replacement for Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s experience in death overs might be a tough one. This might affect the team’s morale but it would be interesting to see what strategies the Captain of the team David Warner comes up with to improve it.

Delhi Capitals is currently on the top of the Points table with 4 victories out of 5 in their pocket and the Sunrisers occupies the seventh place with two victories. Delhi has been on a victory high with their recent victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore. Sunrisers Hyderabad team has recently experienced a massive loss against Mumbai Indians. Whether the Royal Challengers Bangalore continues their spectacular performance or will the Sunrisers team be able to rebound from its losses is a question only for the future.
