India to Play 3 ODI’s PayTM Series Against South Africa from March 12th, 2020

IND vs SA PayTM Series 2020

As a part of the South Africa Tour of India, India and South Africa will be playing a 3 ODI series that is going to last from 12th to 18th of March. The matches are scheduled on the 12th of March in Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamsala, Bharat Ratna Sri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow, on 15th of March, and Eden Gardens, Kolkata on 18th of March. All the matches are going to be live streamed on YuppTV in select Regions.

After quite a gap, players Shikhar Dhawan, Hardik Pandya and Bhuvneshwar Kumar returned to the squad. India’s star opener Rohit Sharma has not yet recovered from his calf injury and Mohammad Shami had been rested with Bhuvneshwar Kumar back in the team. India’s squad comprises of Virat Kohli (c), Shikhar Dhawan, KL Rahul, Manish Pandey, Shreyas Iyer, Rishabh Pant, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Yuzvendra Chahal, Jasprit Bumrah, Navdeep Saini, Kuldeep Yadav, and Shubhman Gill.

The South African Squad comprises of Quinton de Kock (C), Temba Bavuma, Rassie van der Dussen, Faf du Plessis, David Miller, Janneman Malan, Andile Phehlukwayo, Heinrich Klaasen, JJ Smuts, George Linde, Lungi Ngidi, Beuran Hendricks, Anrich Nortje, Keshav Maharaj, and Lutho Sipamla. South African team had faced a terrible defeat in their last encounter against India. The series comprised of 3 T20Is and 3 Tests and India had stood victorious in all of them.

The Indian team had a fantastic record in T20Is and ODIs in the recent past against Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Australia. But the team had played a 5 T20I, 3 ODI and 2 Test series against New Zealand in February in which it managed to whitewash the T20I series but lost all the ODIs and Tests. Given the team’s performance in the ODIs against New Zealand, it is quite difficult to predict the team’s performance in the ODIs against South Africa. But the team has the home advantage this time and this might help to secure a victory.

All the ODIs in the India vs South Africa series will begin at 1:30 PM IST and will be live-streamed in various Digital platforms.
