South Africa is one of the strongest contenders of the World Cup that is fully capable of lifting the trophy. South African team comprises of fantastic players who are in excellent form. The team’s looks as ready as ever with 4 batsmen, 4 all-rounders, 3 Bowlers. Ready as ever, South Africa is among the strongest teams that are entering the World Cup and might be the one among the four that enter the semifinals.
South African team consists of Faf Du Plessis (C), Quinton de Kock (wk), Hashim Amla, Jean-Paul Duminy, Aiden Markram, Dwaine Pretorius, Rassie van der Dussen, Kagiso Rabada, Andile Phehlukwayo, David Miller, Beuran Hendricks, and Tabraiz Shamsi. Veteran players like Faf du Plessis, Quinton de Kock, JP Duminy, Imran Tahir, etc., offer the experience the team requires. From the looks of it, South Africa has the perfect mixture of young and veteran players that can lead the team forward.
Batsmen like Chris Morris, Faf Du Plessis, Quinton de Kock, David Miller, Hashim Amla, etc., have fantastic records in both ODI and T20s and are some of the finest batsmen in the lot. Quinton de Kock is at the 4th position, Du Plessis is at the 6th and Hashim Amla is at the 21st position in the ICC ODI Men’s rankings.
