England Tour of India: Ben Stokes has arrived in Chennai

Comprising of 4 Test matches, 3 ODIs, and 5 T20Is, the England tour of India is the first international cricket series in India since the pandemic has begun. The first Test match of this astounding series will be played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, in Chennai on the 5th of February. Although the first test will be played behind closed doors, it might be a refreshing treat for every cricket fan around the world. Especially after an incredible victory of India against Australia and England’s triumph in the ICC 2019 World Cup, the bar is set high.

Speaking of England’s victory in the World Cup final, the star performer Ben Stokes had performed well and had lifted England’s peril. The all-rounder has arrived in Chennai as he has been rested during the two-Test series in Sri Lanka and took to Instagram to share a series of stories describing his plan of action.

In one story he said: “Day 1 quarantine, I have done a fair bit of quarantine, have to try to make my bed every day, not the best job, but have to do it. So that’s basically me for the next five days”

Few other players who also are not a part of the England test squad have arrived in Chennai and undergoing quarantine in the bio-secure bubbles. England team performed amazingly in Sri Lanka. The formidable captain Joe Root who had been named the player of the match in both the matches is in fantastic form. He will be joined by Ben Stokes and pacer Jofra Archer for the Indian tour alongside other players like Moeen Ali, Stuart Broad, Rory Burns, etc.

The Paytm England tour of India comprises 4 test matches, 5 T20Is, and 3 ODIs that are scheduled from the 5th of February to the 28th of March. The series will be broadcast on all the major networks across the world.

You can watch India vs England series Live on YuppTV from Continental Europe. The Test matches 1, 2, and 4 will begin at 4 AM GMT. The third test, which is a pink ball test begins at 9 AM GMT. The T20Is will begin at 1:30 PM GMT, and the ODIs will commence at 8 AM GMT.
