Bhuvneshwar Kumar will not be able to play due to a hamstring injury
Virat Kohli announced after beating Pakistan by 89 runs in world cup match that Bhuvneshwar Kumar will not be able to play due to a hamstring injury for maximum 3 games. Bhuvneshwar Kumar could not continue the match after his third over and left the field during Pakistan’s 336 run chase. He was not feeling well due to tightness in the left hamstring. Bhuvneshwar Kumar was looking stressed and troubled. And he needed time least for three days for recovery.
According to Kohli, Bhuvneshwar Kumar is a crucial factor for team India but he can recover. However, Shami is a good option for us. Hence, there is no worry for us. New bowler Vijay Shankar had bowled remaining over of Bhuvi. He took wicket (LBW) of Imam-ul-Haq in his very first ball for 7 runs.
