ICC World Cup 2019

Australia vs Pakistan: A real test for Pakistan team

For their 4th match in World Cup 2019, Australia and Pakistan will be playing in The Cooper Associates County Ground, Taunton. Australia has 2 victories in the world cup and stands with 4 points on the points table. Since Pakistan had only played 2 matches of the three scheduled (the other one canceled due to rain and both teams were awarded 1 point each), the team currently has 3 points.

Both the teams have been performing extremely well in WC 2019. Though Australia seems to be ahead in the game, Pakistan’s performance in the tournament cannot be underrated. The team had won against England, which is currently one of the strongest teams. Pakistan has wonderful Batsmen and Bowlers that are fully capable of distressing the other team with their skillset. Batsmen like Imam-ul-Haq, Babar Azam, Mohammed Azeem, and Sarfaraz Ahmed have all scored a half-century in the match against England. The Bowlers complemented with their efforts which helped the team secure victory against England. While the Victory with the England team is an amazing feat, repeating the exact performance is a whole different question. But if they manage to improvise and perform better, they have a decent chance at winning the game against Australia.

AUS vs PAK ICC World Cup 2019

The Australian team has lived up to their reputation in the three matches they have played. Though they were defeated by the Indian team in the third match, their performance in the first two matches against Afghanistan and West Indies have displayed their strength. The Australian team has excellent players like David Warner,     Aaron Finch, Usman Khawaja, Steven Smith, Glenn Maxwell, Alex Carey, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa, etc., that can subjugate any team under any given circumstances. The team is extremely resilient with their batting lineup extending up to the 8th man. The match against India has proved to that the team can fumble too but given the team’s tendency to learn from its mistakes and bounce back fiercely than ever before Australian team will play to its full strength in the match against Pakistan today.
